Our process
How we clean your laundry and dry cleaning
Whether it's a bag of everyday laundry or a suit for a wedding, every order goes through the same careful process at our Saddle Brook store.

1. Intake
Every bag or garment is checked in at the counter, tagged with your name, and inspected for stains, damage or special instructions you've given us.
2. Sorting
Wash & fold loads are sorted by color and fabric type to protect lighter items and keep colors from bleeding. Dry cleaning items are separated by fabric and cleaning method — some pieces need solvent cleaning, others just careful pressing.
3. Washing or dry cleaning
Wash & fold loads go into our large-capacity washers on the right water temperature and cycle for the fabric. Dry cleaning items are cleaned on premises in our dry cleaning machines using solvent instead of water — see our full explanation of how dry cleaning works.
4. Drying
Wash & fold loads are dried on appropriate heat settings by fabric type. Dry cleaned garments go through a controlled, low-heat cycle that removes the remaining solvent without damaging the fabric.
5. Inspection
Before anything is folded, pressed or bagged, it's inspected again — this is where a missed stain or a loose button gets caught.
6. Finishing
Wash & fold is folded by hand at the counter. Dry cleaning is pressed or steamed on forms to restore the garment's shape and crease.
7. Packaging
Folded laundry is bagged; dry cleaning goes on hangers in protective covers. Everything is labeled with your name and ready for pickup — or loaded up for delivery if you booked pickup & delivery.
